　　After the challenging College Entrance Examination, my anticipated summer holiday has begun. I will have a long winter holiday for almost three month. But I have already planned for it. Firstly, I will have a good rest at home and spend some time with my parents. I studied at school before, so I don’t have much time to company them. And then, I want to take a part-time job. I have graduated from senior school, and I think that a part-time job can help me being independent. I hope what I learn in school will be helpful to my new job. After earning some money, I want to have an after-graduation trip that I have been dreaming of for a very long time. My first choice is Xiamen, which is an attractive city. When the trip ends, it’s time for the college.

　　紧张的高考过后，我期待已久的暑假终于开始了。我将会有一个差不多三个月之久的暑假，而我也已经做好暑期计划了。首先，我会在家好好休息，花一些时间好好陪陪我的爸爸妈妈。之前我一直在学校上学，没有很多的时间可以陪伴他们。之后，我想做一份暑期兼职。我已经高中毕业了，我想做兼职能帮助我学会独立，也希望我以前所学的能用在工作中。等赚了一些钱之后，我想要梦想已久一次毕业旅行。我的首选之地是厦门，那是一个非常吸引人的城市。旅行结束的时候，我的大学生活就要开始了。

　　The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I pided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
